Ill

Im ill, so that means a day off work with only my laptop to keep me entertained. I have re-designed my myspace http://www.myspace.com/jealousofgirls and i'm starting to think about giving this website a re0design (f0r some reason some of the old picture links dont work anymore) and i think its starting to look a little tired. If i'm off again tomorrow (and its looking likely because i feel rank) i'll have a blast at re-coding it.

See the twitter feed -? Playing at the Kings Ransom in Sale this Sunday. Also been offered to play in November. Its paid gig(!) and they'll do a recording of the set too :D Looks like i better get practicing!

Album news: I've recorded most of the songs now, ive got a rough mix together. Just need to make a few edits then do the final mix and master. Should be done very soon so watch this space!

Stormbreaker

i broke my harmonica whilst recording this. Stupid cheap harmonicas, that'll teach me for buying a cheap set. false economy.

i realise i've been neglecting my music a lot recently..which is why im currently updating my myspace.facebook/blogger accounts! im also emailing some venues scouting for gigs. Really want to try and get back into it if I can. In the meantime the photo is from my recent gig playing outside the drop the debt bus at Glastonbury.

EDIT: I HATE MYSPACE!!!! WHY WONT IT LET ME MOVE STORMBREAKER TO THE TOP OF THE PLAYLIST????!!!! ARGH!!!!!!

Ben Versus JOG

I've been spending more time in my studio recently, album is coming along nicely. Started recording drums. I've just done a mashup/remix of a Bombay Bicycle Club song 'always like this' with a Poem called 'jobs versus music' by Ben Francis.

Try

I know i havent updated in a long time, so here's a new song as compensation. Recorded using pro tools and my new camera. theres a bit of distortion on the vox cos it was a bit of a rush job but im quite happy with how its turned out.

Album recording is on hiatus until after i get wed at the mo. hope to return to it in April. Still hoping to have it complete by September! I'm gonna try and get hardcore back into my music after the honeymoon, might even start playing live again!
